FESSUD member Daniel Detzer participated in a panel on “Financialization and the Open Economy: Fresh Perspectives on Money and Credit.” on October 26, 2015 at the Bard College Berlin. The panel was organised and chaired by Dirk Ehnts of the Bard College. After a presentation by Stefan Angrick from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo on the compensation thesis, Daniel Detzer gave a talk on the influence of inequality on economic growth, debt and international imbalance. The presentation was based on work done for Work Package 11.
